WHAT IS THE ROTC FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM?
The Contractor’s mission is to provide highly qualified and motivated contract employees who are focused on enhancing the United States Army Cadet Commands mission of recruiting, motivating, training, retaining, and commissioning the Army's future leaders at over 277 colleges and universities across the country.
RDTTS will be placing retired or recently honorably separated Army Active Component, or serving or retired, Reserve and National Guard Army officers and NCOs into ROTC units at colleges and universities across the United States as employees of a nationally recognized company. Corporate Position Descriptions
Program Manager
Possess a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree desired). Meet the academic institution’s academic qualifications and other requirements for instructor positions.
Possess a thorough knowledge of Army organizational structure, mission objectives, function, procedures, agency regulations, and policy pertaining to the Department of the Army.
Must be or have been a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army. Have knowledge of military training and field training evaluation. Possess tactical and leadership skills gained from successful platoon and company commander or branch equivalent experience (applicants with referred or relief for cause efficiency reports are not acceptable). Know basic soldier skills, to include map reading, land navigation, marksmanship, drill and ceremonies, weapons experience with M-16 rifle and M-60 machine gun. Know safety skills in use of small arms, ammunition, and pyrotechnics.
Have a minimum of eight years prior active or reserve military experience. Experience must be current (within the last five years at time of initial assignment as a contractor instructor) and have terminated with an honorable discharge or be retired. Discharge can not be the result of a show cause board.

Deputy Program Manager

Have knowledge of military training and field training evaluation. Possess tactical and leadership skills gained from successful platoon and company level leadership experience (applicants with referred or relief for cause efficiency reports are not acceptable). Know basic soldier skills, to include map reading, land navigation, marksmanship, drill and ceremonies, weapons experience with M-16 rifle and M-60 machine gun. Know safety skills in use of small arms, ammunition, and pyrotechnics.
Have a minimum of 15 years prior active or reserve military experience. Experience must be current (within the last five years at time of initial assignment as a contractor instructor) and have terminated (preferably at the grade of E-7 or above) with an honorable discharge or be retired. Can not have been discharged from active duty as the result of a qualitative reduction program.
Have a minimum of 12 years (15 years preferred) prior active or reserve military experience. Experience must be current (within the last five years at time of initial assignment as a contractor instructor) and have terminated (preferably at the grade of E-7 or above) with an honorable discharge or be retired. Can not have been discharged from active duty as the result of a qualitative reduction program.

Requirements:
Have (or obtain within 90 days of hiring at no cost to the government) a Class B Commercial Driver’s License and/or hazardous materials endorsement (H endorsement).
Be able to lift, move, and otherwise handle up to 100 pounds, large quantities of boxes of uniforms, equipment, and supplies (both on campus and during off campus training exercises).
Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance. Duty attire is civilian clothing.
Pass periodic, unannounced, Government administered drug screening tests.
Have a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) per AR 380-67 Personnel Security Program, paragraph 3-611.
Be able to travel and stay overnight for periods up to 90 days.

BRIGADE/REGION/HEADQUARTERS FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT
Requirements:
Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance. Duty attire is civilian clothing. Exception: If filling a Recruiting Operations Officer position at the Brigade level, and individual is otherwise authorized, contractor is allowed to wear the uniform at Army ROTC recruiting events outside the normal Brigade duty location.
Pass periodic, unannounced, Government administered drug screening tests.
Have a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) per AR 380-67 Personnel Security Program, paragraph 3-611.
Qualifications:
Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
